The sets

What does “one theme, one pattern” mean?

Each of our nine themes has one printed paper pattern. The backdrop, table set, garland, cake topper and, where there is one, the balloon kit and favour boxes all use it, so everything you put up matches without you having to hunt for pieces that go together.

Do I have to buy the whole set?

No. Every piece is sold on its own. The set builder just makes it quicker to buy several at once. The set total is simply the sum of the pieces.

How big is a backdrop?

Fabric backdrops are 150 × 220 cm with a rod pocket at the top. A curtain rod, tension rod or backdrop stand is not included. Sizes of every piece are listed on each product page under “In the box”.

What are the products made of?

Printed paper, card and fabric. Balloons are natural rubber latex. Nothing in any set uses batteries or mains power, and we do not sell candles, fireworks or electric string lights.

Can I use them again?

Yes. Fans and garlands fold flat, fabric backdrops and runners fold up, and the box is sized to keep a set together. Paper plates, cups and napkins are single-use.

Are the table sets for 8 or 16 guests?

Most table sets come in two sizes: 8 guests or 16 guests. Choose on the product page or in the set builder.

Safety

Are your balloons safe for children?

Latex balloons carry this warning: Children under 8 years can choke or suffocate on uninflated or broken balloons. Adult supervision required. Keep uninflated balloons from children. Discard broken balloons at once. Balloons are natural rubber latex, which can cause allergies. A pump is not included.

Can I use candles near the decorations?

Please do not. Paper and fabric burn. Keep every piece away from candles, open flames, heaters and hot lamps.

Ordering, prices and delivery

Which currency will I pay in?

The currency of the country you ship to: USD, CAD, GBP, EUR, DKK, SEK, NOK or CHF. Prices always show the currency code. Change the country under Ship to at the top of any page.

How much is delivery and how long does it take?

One flat charge per order, shown in your cart, and usually 2–4 business days to dispatch plus 5–12 business days in transit. See Delivery & duties.

Will I pay import duties?

Our prices include all taxes we have to charge. Your country may charge import duties or taxes on arrival, which are paid by the recipient. Details are on the Delivery page.

How do I pay?

By card, through our payment provider’s secure form at checkout. We never see or store your card number. Your statement shows TINTAVELL.

Do you have discount codes?

No. We do not run promotions at the moment, and our prices are the same for everyone in a country.

Returns

Can I return something?

Yes, within 30 days of delivery, unused. Customers in the EU, UK, Norway and EEA also have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. See Returns promise or use the withdrawal form.

Something arrived damaged. What now?

Email a photo and your order number to support@tintavell.com within 30 days. We send a replacement or refund you, and we cover any return cost.
